Rise Up Baking was formed out of a belief that making and eating nourishing, delicious food should be the center, not the periphery of our lives, and that sweetness should be a celebration, not an addiction.

In this spirit, we use the healthiest, freshest, most sustainably grown ingredients available. Whenever possible, Rise Up Baking uses flour, dairy, eggs and produce from New York City’s Community Gardens and farms that participate in New York City’s many farmers’ markets, ensuring that your money goes towards supporting local farmers and long-term food security, not long distance shipping. Our baking soda and baking powder are made the old fashioned way, without chemical processing; our vanilla beans, vanilla extract, chocolate and cocoa powder are fairly traded.

Rise Up Baking welcomes orders for vegan, non-dairy, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free and baby-healthy food.
